Niagara Falls Travel Tips

It is not necessary to have an automobile in Niagara Falls, Ontario as the public transportation system is excellent.

The streets in the city are congested in the summer and parking is sometimes difficult to find. However, a car is a necessity if one wishes to travel outside the city into the surrounding area. The best solution is to park the car upon arrival and use public transportation thereafter except when traveling outside the area.

The area around Niagara Falls and Clifton Hill is so concentrated you can easily do it all on foot or bicycle and this is the recommended way to go. You can take in the Falls from any number of vantage points for free.
